NGC 6914
Reflection Nebula in Cygnus

  NGC 6914 is part of a star forming molecular cloud region located in the northern part of the massive Gamma Cygni nebulae complex near IC 1318. Surrounded by regions of HII that make up LBN 47, NGC 6914 is a reflection nebula in the upper part of this image. Below NGC 6914 is reflection nebula vdB 132 and further below is a portion of vdB 131. The dark nebula to the right is LDN 897.
