  NGC 6834 is an open cluster of stars located about 7,000 light years from the Sun in the constellation Cygnus. It has a visual magnitude of 7.8 and an estimated age of 65 million years.
Also seen in this image towards the left is planetary nebula NGC 6842. It has an irregular disk with traces of ring structure.
